There are two different things shared here on this site. Fantasy, and Reality. Fantasy is fun. You can twist and bend it any way you want to. But its a candy floss, cotton candy fun. It dissolves, and leaves you nothing except a little worse for wear. Reality is harder. It costs more. You have to believe what you are saying, be willing to take very real risks, expose yourself to possibly being hurt. Nevertheless, in the end its the only thing that is worth your effort tomorrow. Its the only thing you can build on. I have no scorn for those who choose fantasy. I just wish they would stop lying, to themselves or others. . .. Because those of us who are actually real find it frustrating to be lied to over and over by strangers, , And because we aren't gonna play the fantasy out the way you fantasy players want it to go anyway. We will be unsatisfying play partners. . .Because what we are reaching for isn't what you are reaching out for, and the two overlap poorly.

If you aren't into Real, be honest about that. It hurts no one, and saves everyone frustration, and low quality experiences. We all win from the truth.
