Quick question.. Guys: Do you find filling a message up with every etc. improves your interaction with whomever you are trying to talk to?

Ladies: Does the wall of emotes help the guy get your attention? And if so, in a positive or negative manner?

Because I just can't see this as being helpful, or is that just me
