What do the badges next to a member’s user name mean?

Ever wondered why some Members have small icons/symbols next to their name and what this means? Below we have provided a brief explanation of each available profile badge.

Members are able to explore each other’s site reputation and badges through the “About Me” section of each profile. Earning badges heavily increases your chances to get contacted, and to make friends with real people who share your desires and interests.

Bronze, Silver and Gold Crowns = Profile Reputation

The crowns on member’s profiles reflect their reputation and behavior in the community. These are earned organically through having an active membership, contributing through blogs, comments, status’ and photos; as well as reputation points being awarded or deducted in response to how other members interact with your profile and its content.

Your reputation is viewable via the “About Me” section of your profile. The higher the positive reputation the better the crown (lowest being Bronze, highest being Gold).

You can avoid having your reputation damaged by interacting with other profiles in a polite and respectful manner, using your profile honestly and ensuring you don’t break any of the site conduct rules.
